Research Interests: Nancy (Nga) Hoang is a passionate advocate for student-centered education, equitable teaching practices, and the promotion of Computational Thinking in K-12 education through Computer Science. As a Ph.D. student in Learning Science and Human Development at the University of Colorado Boulder, her research focuses on designing curricula that empower students and analyzing classroom dynamics to understand and support collaboration in the classroom.

Bio: Nancy holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, with a specialization in STEM education, from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her diverse background includes a decade of experience as a Computer Science teacher and a leadership role as CEO and Co-Founder of Kiddicode, a technology academy for young learners in Vietnam. She is also recognized as a co-author of Vietnam's national Computer Science workbook, a widely used resource among students.
